Sultan Community Events
Every year, the Sultan Harvest Committee teams up with the Volunteers of America (VOA) Sky Valley Services Center to host “Sultan Harvest,” a free, volunteer-driven Thanksgiving dinner that welcomes all who wish to attend.
Known as the event where “no one eats alone,” this year’s Sultan Harvest took place 12 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, in the Sultan High School Commons. For more information about Sultan Harvest 2017, please click here.
Contact the Sultan Harvest Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how to get involved.
Winterfest and Tree Lighting
Winterfest is a holiday crafts festival held at Sultan High School in December. The Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts this annual event, which needs volunteers to help set up and staff the booths. This year’s Winterfest took place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
The Tree Lighting event follows Winterfest, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. at Sultan’s Main Street Gazebo, located in River Park. The Tree Lighting includes music, cookies, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus, who is traditionally transported to the event by Snohomish County Fire District 5.
If you’d like to volunteer at Winterfest, contact the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce at (360) 793-0983 or email: Debbie Copple.
