   The position is an appointment by the City Council that would fill a term set to expire December 31, 2023.

   Interviews will be scheduled at the April 27, 2023 Council meeting.

   This position has a base pay of $300 per month with the potential to earn up to an additional $200 per month by attending additional meetings and events outside of regularly scheduled council meetings. No other benefits are offered with this position.

    Council members for the City of Sultan must reside within City limits and be registered voters in Sultan, Washington. In order to be eligible for appointment to a Council vacancy, applicants must have lived in the City of Sultan for 12 consecutive months prior to being appointed to office.
