The project will include - Installation of water pipeline, services, hydrants, and other appurtenances; abandonment of existing asbestos concrete water main and facilities; paving; construction survey; temporary traffic control; and other work as necessary.
The project will begin at the top of Gohr Rd (formerly 311th Ave.) and continue down the hill past North Park and onto Wisteria. It will follow around Wisteria to the main entrance of the high school.
This work is being done to replace an outdated water main so that the city can continue to provide dependable and reliable service. The water main in place right now currently runs through swamp land just east of Gohr Road. Work hours will be 7am to 5pm. We anticipate this project will impact traffic flow in the area and are encouraging citizens to plan accordingly. The school district has been notified and we encourage you to check with them about any potential bus schedule changes. An anticipated and temporary water interruption will occur when water flow is transferred to the new line. We will alert the residence prior to the interruption.
