What do you do with your old sensitive documents? Do you throw them in the trash? Do you keep letting them pile up? Have you been waiting for an opportunity to get rid of them? As fraud and identity theft continue to be an issue, now is your chance to participate in our annual FREE Community Shred Event.
We will be partnering with Lemay Mobile Shredding and the City of Sultan for this event. Attendees will arrive with papers they want shredded, and then be able to watch their paper be shredded by the truck. There will be a limit of 5 boxes of paperwork to be shredded per household.
During this event we are also having a food drive. Donating food is not required to get your documents shredded. The food that we collect will be provided to the Volunteers of America in Sultan. If you wish to donate some non-perishable and non-expired food items, we would greatly appreciate it.
*In order to limit contact and comply with state COVID guidelines we are going to have a drive thru event. We ask that community members wear a mask while dropping off their papers. This will allow us to provide the opportunity for the drop-off while limiting in person contact.
When: Saturday May 22nd, 2021- From 9AM to 12PM
Where: Sultan Police Department, 515 Main Street, Sultan
We hope to see you at our 1-day event!
