National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is April 24th, 2021

Drug Take Back Day

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. 

The Sultan Police Department will be participating in this year’s event by hosting an outdoor drop off location.  

  • When: Saturday April 24th, 2021, from 10AM to 2PM 
  • Where: Sultan Police Department located at 515 Main Street, Sultan

*In order to limit contact and comply with state COVID guidelines we are going to have a drive thru event. This will allow us to provide the opportunity for the drop-off while limiting in person contact. 

*To protect your privacy, patients are reminded to remove all personally identifiable information on medication labels or packaging before disposing of unwanted medicines. 

What types of medications are accepted? 

-Medications in any dosage form, expect for those identified as Not Accepted below, in their original container or sealed bag. 

What types of medications are not accepted

-Herbal remedies, vitamins, supplements, cosmetics, other personal care products, medical devices, batteries, mercury-containing thermometers, sharps, illicit drugs, and pet pesticide products.
