Animal Control
Responsibilities
City Community Service Officer, Victoria Forte, is responsible for all aspects of Animal Control, including:
- Enforcing City animal ordinances
- Impounding stray animals
- Licensing animals
- Investigating dangerous dogs and complaints of animal cruelty
- Transportation of stray, injured, or deceased animals
Pet Licensing
Pet licensing is required in Sultan. You may purchase your license at City Hall.
Per City ordinance, any person owning a dog or cat shall procure a license for each such animal each fiscal year or any part thereof and pay a fee as required by the city
adopted fee resolution or ordinance.” Animal Control ordinances can be found in Chapter 6.04 of the Sultan Municipal Code.
