2nd Annual Sultan Business Fair
The Second Annual Business Fair in Sultan was held Saturday, September 10th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the north sidewalk of Main Street in front of the Community Center, 319 Main Street, Sultan. The Annual Business Fair is FREE to all businesses that may not have a storefront and need to network with other businesses as well as promote and sell their wares to the public.
There were 15 local businesses that participated in the event this year, some of whom will be involved in planning next year’s Business Fair.
Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick has 32 years of business and 8 years of business counseling experience. “I know how important it is for small businesses to get the word out about what they do, or have to offer and this is a perfect opportunity for just that”, said Mayor Eslick. “Besides, citizens really want to support their own local economy, they just need to know where to find what they need locally”, Mayor Eslick continued.

Sultan Business Spotlight
Economic and Business Development is a top priority for the citizens, Mayor Eslick and the City Council. At the May 27, 2010 City Council meeting the Sultan City Council voted unanimously to direct Mayor Eslick to sign a resolution to recognize Sultan businesses.
In 2010 Mayor Eslick and the Sultan City Council recognized the following local businesses:
Mayor Carolyn Eslick and the Sultan City Council recognized LeMaster Auto Body as the October Business Spotlight at the October 13, 2011 Council meeting.
In 1999 Allison Blanscet and Phil King purchased LeMaster Auto Body located at 811 Main Street, Sultan. Phil had a background in mechanics and Allison took over the business side. They hired 2 collision technicians and grew to employ 3 technicians from 2001 – 2005. Although Allison and Phil have second jobs, they still run the business together with the help of one technician.
LeMaster Auto Body specializes in major and minor auto body repairs. Minor repairs can range from buffing and polishing. Major repairs include replacing doors, fenders, sheet metal, frame straightening and alignment. LeMaster also sells spray-on bed liners for pick-up trucks and car batteries.
Since Allison and Phil purchased LeMaster Auto Body, business has been up and down with the economy. However, Allison reports business has been better this year than in the last few years
