  2. Aproval of the April 1, 2008 Minutes

7:00 PM JOINT PLANNING BOARD/CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP DISCUSSION:
  1. Revised Schudule
    • intent of meeting/process
    • setting expectations for remaining work
  2. Development Regulations
    • introduce required changes to the Sultan Development Regulations
  3. Comprehensive Plan, Goals and Policies
    • introduce Compprehensive Plan Goals, Policies for consistency with policy decisions
  4. Policy direction on Needs Assessment for Water, Sewer, and Stormwater
    • fire protection meeting or exceeding fire code standard
    • management of private wells inside City Limits
    • water service limited to UGA (Urban Growth Area)
    • maximize lake 16 water source in relation to Everett Water
    • sewer service limited to within City Limits
    • no new on-site septic systems allowed indside City Limits
    • unsewered parcels connected to sewer system
    • new stormwater conveyance system built to accommodate 25-year storm event; existing conveyance system built to 10 year storm event standard
    • Level of capital investment
    • Maintain Department of Ecology Standards for stormwater retenion/detention
