6:30 PM PUBLIC HEARING COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC:Citizens are requested to keep comments to a 3 minute maximum to allow time for everyone to speak. It is also requested that you complete a comment form for further contact.

CHANGES/ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA

COMMITTEE REPORTS AND STAFF PRESENTATIONS

ACTION ITEMS:
  1. Recommendation to City Council to amend the 2004 Comprehensive Plan.
    • Delete the proposed roadway connection of Dyer Rd and Skywall Drive (T-28).
    • Maintain the proposed sewer pipeline extension on both Dyer Road and Skywall Drive.
    • Maintain the proposed sewer pump station (Number 4) as shown on the sewer map.
  2. Approval of the March 5, 2008 Minutes
  3. Approval of the February 19, 2008 Minutes

7:00 PM JOINT PLANNING BOARD/CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP DISCUSSION:
  1. Discuss and direct Staff on preferred alternatives:
    • Identified arterial classifications
    • Street Design Standards
    • Lower Transportation Level of Service Standard from "B" to "D"
    • Lower Parks Level of Service Standard from 42.6 acre/1,000 residents to 1.5 acres/1,000 residents for Neighborhood and Community Parks
    • Remove Police Level of Service Standard for 2.6 officers/1,000 residents from the Comprehensive Plan.
